Dear Fellow Directors,
The joy is mine to assist the BSI Pathfinder Federation in coordinating the trip to Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom.
This event will be on Sunday, August 29th, 2010. The cost per person is $70 which includes transportation, tickets to the park, and lunch and drinks.
Lunch will be served during a 5 hour block from 1pm to 6pm or from 12:30pm to 5:30pm. This will be a buffet with the option to eat and drink as needed,

 Hello Pathfinder Leaders: Grace and peace to you all from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. By now many of you may have heard of the tragic death of Daryn McKay, son of Deputy Director Thora McKay. He was a senior pathfinder in our club and member of our and BSI's drum corps. We deeply mourn the passing of a young and vibrant life. We pray that the God of all comfort will be with his family at this dark hour. The funeral will be held on Thursday July 22 at 10 am at Christian Fellowship SDA Church. Viewing will be from 9 am -9:45 am. We are asking all pathfinders and staff who could attend the funeral to wear their Class A uniform. Honor sash is not required. We are also asking Directors and Master Guides to come prepared to participate as honor/color guards if necessary. (Please contact Coordinator Irwin Lawrence for details: Tel- 347-268-7682) Internment will take place immediately after the service at the Pine Lawn Memorial Park and Cemetery in Farmingdale, Long Island For those who may not be able to attend on Thursday morning, there is a viewing on Wednesday, July 21, at the Gilmore Funeral Home, located at 191-02 Linden Blvd, St Albans, Queens. Viewing will take place between 5 pm and 9 pm. |
